Return and Refund Policy

This Return and Refund Policy applies to purchases made through fitgtx.shop.

We want customers to understand their rights and the procedures that apply when they wish to withdraw from a purchase, return a product, report a defective product, or request a refund.

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory rights available to consumers under German or European Union consumer protection law.

1. Statutory Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer purchasing goods online and the statutory right of withdrawal applies to your purchase, you generally have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 days without giving a reason.

For goods, the withdrawal period generally begins when you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods.

Where several goods from one order are delivered separately, the withdrawal period generally begins when the final item is received.

German law provides a 14-day withdrawal period for eligible distance contracts, and Shopify's EU guidance likewise identifies the 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases.

2. How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must clearly inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract before the withdrawal period expires.

Your message should contain enough information for us to identify your order, such as your name, order number, email address used for the purchase, and the product or products concerned.

You do not have to provide a reason for exercising a statutory withdrawal right.

After receiving your withdrawal request, we will provide appropriate return instructions where necessary.

3. Returning Goods After Withdrawal

After notifying us that you are exercising your withdrawal right, you must return the relevant goods without undue delay and generally no later than 14 days after notifying us of your withdrawal.

Customers should not send returns to an address that has not been confirmed through our customer service process.

Please contact info@fitgtx.shop before returning a product so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.

4. Condition of Returned Products

You may inspect a product to the extent reasonably necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and functioning.

You may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what would reasonably be necessary to inspect the product in the same way you could reasonably inspect it in a physical retail environment.

Where possible, returned products should include their original packaging, labels, accessories, manuals, and included components.

The absence of original packaging does not automatically remove a statutory withdrawal right where such a right exists.

5. Return Shipping Costs

For ordinary returns made under the statutory withdrawal right, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, provided the customer has been properly informed of this obligation.

If a product is defective, damaged on arrival, or materially different from the product ordered because of an error attributable to us, reasonable return costs will be handled by fitgtx.shop where required by applicable law.

German Civil Code provisions permit the consumer to bear direct return costs when the consumer has been appropriately informed.

6. Refunds Following Withdrawal

When a valid withdrawal applies, we will refund payments that must legally be reimbursed, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the original order.

Because fitgtx.shop provides free standard shipping for all orders, customers normally will not have paid a standard outbound shipping fee.

Refunds required following a valid withdrawal will generally be made within 14 days after we receive the withdrawal notice. However, where legally permitted, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or the customer provides evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Unless otherwise agreed without additional cost to the customer, refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction. German law provides for these refund mechanics in distance-contract withdrawals.

7. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products

Please inspect your order after delivery.

If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, incomplete, or different from what you ordered, contact:

Provide your order number and a clear description of the problem. Photographs may be requested where reasonably necessary to understand the issue.

Where a product does not conform to the contract, statutory remedies and consumer rights may apply independently of the 14-day withdrawal right.

Nothing in this policy limits mandatory statutory warranty or conformity rights.

8. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

Certain contracts or products may be excluded from the statutory withdrawal right where an exception under applicable law applies.

Examples may include, where legally applicable:

• Goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised;
• Goods that deteriorate or expire rapidly;
• Sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons after the seal has been removed;
• Certain sealed audio, video, or software products after unsealing;
• Certain digital content where performance has begun following the customer's legally valid express consent and acknowledgement.

An exception will only be applied where permitted by applicable law.

9. Exchanges

We do not guarantee direct product exchanges.

Where an exchange is requested, contact info@fitgtx.shop. Depending on product availability and the circumstances, we may provide return instructions and ask the customer to place a new order.

Statutory rights remain unaffected.

10. Order Cancellation Before Dispatch

If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, contact us as soon as possible at info@fitgtx.shop.

We will attempt to accommodate cancellation requests where operationally possible. However, we cannot guarantee that an order can be stopped once processing or dispatch has begun.

This does not affect any statutory withdrawal right that may apply after delivery.

11. Refund Processing

Once a refund has been issued by fitgtx.shop, the time required for the funds to appear in your account may depend on your bank, card issuer, payment provider, or payment method.

fitgtx.shop does not control processing times imposed by external financial institutions.

12. Fraudulent or Abusive Returns

We reserve the right to investigate return requests where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, misuse, product substitution, deliberate damage, or other abuse.

However, this provision will never be used to remove or unlawfully restrict mandatory consumer rights.
